Our Story
Originally from Akron, Ohio, singer/songwriter/guitarist Rick Trace has been performing his percussive style of alt-pop folk rock to fans for over 20 years. Pulling from influences as diverse as Radiohead, Dave Matthews, Jack Johnson, Sublime, Ryan Adams and Damien Rice, to 80’s pop rock and 70’s classic rock, his performances emit a powerful range of vocal ability showcased in a variety of originals and stylistically adapted cover songs all strapped to the tracks of an upbeat rhythm train. From energized tempos to beat-boxing and air-turntable sound effects, a wide range of genre influence and song selection is rolled into every one of Rick Trace’s jam packed performances.
